Privacy Policy
This policy explains what bypanther.pro, including Panther Journal and Panther Knowledge, collects about you, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: the site runs without analytics or advertising trackers, stores data only when you hand it over (a project brief, a newsletter signup, a comment), and keeps it on Panther’s own hosting.
1. No tracking by default
Reading the site sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising or social-media trackers. Fonts, images and scripts are served from the site itself. Panther does not build profiles of visitors and does not sell or share visitor data.
Like any website, the servers that host the site (Hostinger) may keep standard, short-lived technical logs of requests, which can include IP addresses and browser details, for security and operations. Panther does not use these logs to identify or track individual visitors.
2. Project requests (contact form)
When you submit the Start a project form, the site sends the details you typed (your name or handle, project, needs, budget range, preferred reply channel and message) to Panther as a message through Telegram and, where configured, a private webhook to a messaging workspace. These providers process the message under their own privacy policies. The site itself does not keep a copy of your brief in a database.
Your IP address is held briefly in server memory only to limit repeated submissions, and is not stored.
Panther uses your brief to reply to you and scope the project, and for nothing else.
4. Journal reactions and comments
If you clap, repost or comment on a story, the site stores that action together with a random reader ID that your browser creates and keeps in its own local storage. The ID is not linked to your name, email or IP, and exists only so claps can be capped per reader without accounts. Clearing your browser storage resets it.
A comment stores the display name and text you entered and the time. Comments are public on the story page and can be moderated or removed. Do not include personal information you would not want published.
Your browser’s local storage also remembers conveniences such as your chosen display name, your bookmarked stories and which stories you have clapped for or reposted. This stays on your device; the site never reads it back to Panther.
5. The admin area
The private publishing area at /admin sets one strictly necessary, httpOnly session cookie when Panther signs in. It is used only to keep that session and is never set for ordinary visitors.
6. Where your data lives and how long it stays
Subscriber, reaction and comment data is stored in files on Panther’s hosting with Hostinger. Project requests pass through Telegram and, where configured, a messaging webhook. No other third party receives your data, and Panther does not sell or rent it.
Subscriber records are kept while you are subscribed, and the unsubscribe record afterwards so you are not re-added by mistake. Comments stay with the story unless removed. Project messages stay in Panther’s messaging history for as long as the relationship needs them.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the data Panther holds about you, to object to its use, or to receive a copy. You can exercise any of them, or ask any question about this policy, by messaging Panther on X or Telegram or using the contact form. Panther will respond within a reasonable time and never charges for a request. You also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority where you live.
8. Children
The site is not directed at children, and Panther does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has subscribed or commented, contact Panther and the data will be removed.
9. Changes
Panther may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows the current version; material changes will be reflected here.
10. Contact
Privacy questions and requests: message Panther on X (@0xPnthr) or Telegram (@BlackPanther609), or use the contact form on the site.
